This is what happens when I get a new Toy View attachment 341370
That does look good, I just found a way to fix corn on the cob without having all the silks left on, you probably already know how. I cook mine like you are cooking yours with the shucks on. When done, I feel on the stalk end where the corn starts and then cut shucks corn and all cut at least 1/2 inch of the corn off, then grab hold of the end with the silks and squeeze the corn out the cut end, all the silks will stay with the shucks. It works for me.

Being afraid and being stupid are two different things.
I know, I am replying to my own post. lol
After I posted this I got to thinking that you may think I was saying that you are stupid, not at all, you know your limitations and I know mine, you know your equipment and I know mine. Afraid in my book doesn't mean coward, to me it means caution.

There are times up on Missouri I refuse to go.

What I was refering to was a couple years ago the Miss was almost dry.

Grilled myself this eve. Cept in driveway. Chops and foil wraped tators.

Might be getting another pu for plow work. Current one has a bad wheel and several wheel studs missing.

Speaking of grills. I set this up today.

This worked out great today. Grilled up some steaks, brats, and lamb on it while on the water today with friends. Only problem is the wake at higher speeds runs into it, and then splashes back into the boat and/or person on that side. I might move it around and see if anything changes. Now to see if the frame can easily accommodate my small propane grill.

I lost caution a long time ago. Soldiers who leap from aircraft and repell down mountains have very little fear or sense.

Very hot yesterday until the clouds rolled in, then it got quite pleasant. Not sure how much rain we got out of it but I would estimate just over an inch judging from the water in the dogs watering bucket.
A couple years ago I had a clog in the drain between the house and septic tank, went to H.F. and bought an electric sewer snake with about 50' ft. of snake and cleared the clog. Late yesterday just as it quit raining the SIL called said nothing in their house would drain, got to use the snake again, nothing about working on sewer I like but now I would think it has paid for itself.
I have fished the Miss. one time from a boat, while much busier with industrial traffic and having a much heavier current than what I was used to fishing on the Ohio when at pool I was in the company of a USCA member who is quite experienced and in a very nice boat, never felt unsafe and would like to go again someday.

For a decade I halfway controlled a Groundhog due to having a Jack Russell, after the dog died, it had free range. For the past two years I had a small garden and got very little from it. Now I have a new problem ! The Crows have found out that ripe Figs are good. They arrive, five to twelve, and feast on the ripe Figs. But I've found if I pick Figs early in the AM and late PM, I can get enough to eat and can, 8 to 10 pounds.

I'm more than pleased with my new AI hearing aids from VA. It does everything they advertise.
