I found that out the hard way. Moving from Texas to Kansas via Uncle Sam I went to catch some bait with a cast net in a pond on post. Lo and behold it was not the smartest thing to do. Sunfish, bluegill, perch and whatnnot are not game fish in Texas, but they are in Kansas. I was let go with a warning but I tell you what, I carry the rule book with me every time I go fishing now days.
