ANDE PREMIUM MONSTER YELLOW 20lb 2400yd
$42.95
MONSTER YELLOW IS FOR TARGETING LARGE MEAN FISH. IT'S A HARD LINE WITH OUTSTANDING KNOT STRENGTH AND ABRASION RESISTANCE. IT'S A ONE PURPOSE LINE AND THAT IS TO LAND LARGE CATFISH.

I bought a one pound spool of And monster yellow in 20lb from catfish connection last summer. Deiter Melhorn does a great job reviewing it on his YouTube channel. Ande themselves say Monster is a 150% strength line, so 20lb is really 30lb, 30lb is 45, etc.

I tested it myself and it definitely breaks somewhere around 30lbs very consistently.

I also just installed a strip of blue LEDs in my boat and it glows like no other line in my possession. It's like a fiber optic shotgun sight going through the guides!

I finally spooled up some of the Monster 20. I was going to use the 16 lb for my lighter rigs.
I was surprised how thin the Monster 20 is but went ahead and filled about half the spool with some older 30 lb I had then tied a blood knot and got the yellow Ande on.

I tied a big nut on and made a few casts in the street and it casted extremely well. seems nice and limp too.
I like it

I went fishing and this Ande Monster seems to be a winner.
Its a little strange because it feels soft. Its also limp and opaque but it casts awesome I really like it.

Glad to hear that. I grew up on pink Ande and was just wondering if after all these years someone might have upped the line game, I was thinking slime line but haven't heard much good about it but haven't heard too much bad either

I've been using Ande for years, least expensive I can find without going the ridiculously inexpensive stuff. Got a lot of Ande around here. Recently got a couple Kastking reels so trying some of their line. Comes in a nice box but to me it looks like fishing line! About the same price as Ande and it's delivered to my door. over 30 miles to town one way! Have used Stren and several other's and all seemed to work well. Sometime's I think we put to much though into these thing's!
