Saunders spring lake is accessed through fort knox. Gotta have a post fishing permit in addition to ky permit. I have not fished there much because of the snakes. After i had a frog get eaten mid croak right beside me it was time to GTFOT. Have not been back at night since. Follow 7th armor on the map and you will see two more lakes. Upper and lower douglas lakes. Fished there all last year. Both have boat ramps and plenty of bank fishing you can drive right up to. Snakes are seen much less there.

I've heard lower douglas is really good fishin and even heard theres a few stripers to, any truth to either?

 

Mainly targeting catfish at night. A few cats...

First striper i have ever caught. Last fall with chicken liver on the hook. Have went out a few times during the day this year with lures but have not caught anything yet. I really do not know much about lures. Probably not doing something right. I will get it figured out as i try new things.

It's fished hard but there are good fish there to include a few Stripers.

From Lower Douglas Lake. The only striper i have ever caught and some cats.

There be cats and stripers there. I attempted to post some pictures two days ago and did not notice a message about approval. Tried to post the pictures again and seen the approval message. I am on several message boards and this is the only one that does this. :mad1:
