RAMBLINGS Vol 147 - Back to Dixie's trailer court

Good cold Tuesday morning to ya. 11* now going up to 30* later on. Bad news is we may have ice and snow on the way. Yeah, I know it's January but I've just gotten a more tropical attitude as I've gotten older.

Cheap, don't forget...

Supper tonight will be the venison steaks we didn't have last night. Bacon cheeseburgers were Bo's idea so that's what we had.

Going to spend part of the day on the mermaid afghan and part working on something a little lighter. Heavy yarn makes my hands ache after a while. I sure don't plan on doing any more full size afghans unless they are constructed of motifs (there's a fancy French word for ya) or strips (not that kind). Need to make up another white seed stitch baby afghan for stock. I've been out for a while and been too busy to make another one.

Mr. Bo got me some strawberries yesterday so I reckon breakfast will be oats with a few strawberries on top. Two of my favorite things.

Time to move along. Y'all have a goodun and don't let your pipes freeze.

Looks like the trailer park is going up hill, such as, thar are several cars and trucks sitting to the side of the trailers and to the rear and none of them are supported by cinder blocks and thar are no weeds growing up around them. Plus I've noticed more and more trailers with vinyl under-pending. Also, the red light on YKW's trailer has been out for weeks on end.

FU, I took a peek at dat bait catching thing, neat.

I have not heard or seen a single boat out in the cove behind my shanty, guess they don't like 15 degree weather.

It's still white outside, looks like fine stuff is blowing off the roof. 10 degrees heading for ??? I'll wait and be surprised or not. LOL

I'll probably just work in the house today,,, maybe be lazy and do nothing.

Someone said one of the trailers was haunted and by a ******* ghost no less. When asked how he knew the ghost was a ******* the guy said it jumped out at him and said "BOO YA'LL" Snicker.

Good Morning from the foothills where things are confusing. I had 3 thermometers available to me this morning Â… one reads 10* (that one is on-line and I think is located at the airport, about 10 miles away), the next one reads 16* and the last one reads 19*.

So I donÂ’t know exactly what the temp is, but it would seem to be cold! But it could be worse. It's 6* and snowing up in the high mountains (Boone, NC).

I agree with Jim, whatever I do today is likely to be inside … Mac-B, I wouldn’t go out ‘till the dial hits 40*, if I were you.

Mr. Mac, I don't do the red light deal these days. I quit that line of work at the last trailer park. My psychic business is a lot safer and since everything has gone cyber these days a lot of my business is done online. Ole Cheap was right on the money the other day when he was talking about my writing. Romance novels are legal and very profitable.
(You folks who aren't regulars to the thread please remember: this is all in good fun and in no way resembles real life...except for a few things that we won't clarify due to legal issues. AKA we can neither confirm nor deny and the Fifth Amendment is our friend.). 😂😂😂😇

I've hear tell that phone sex is doing quite well and dats done on line, like telephone lines or in Keef case, via radio waves. :roflmao: All one needs is a 900 prefix, credit card account, sexy voice and Wham O, you R in business.
