I saw it Macb, hope they get what they are coming for. The town needs a good cleaning.
Debbie says Aldi has Stroopwaffles again. Wish they had honey instead of caramel filling. The honey ones taste better and hard to find. Guess a trip to T J Maxx soon.
Got a lot of fruit and grain bars, strawberry and blueberry filled at Ollies in 2 different stores. Debbie likes the blueberry biscuits. It's more like a hard cookie, kinda like an English biscuit.
Skinny neighbor saved me some spent dryer sheets. I added 2 sheets per load of brass while tumbling. They came out dark greenish black after 3 hours. I tumble a 1 lb coffee can of 9mm casings per tumbler. Had 4 going at once. Think I'll add some new walnut today. Yep, I still have some old 1 and 3 lb metal coffee cans.
I ordered a hamburger with mustard and tomato only for dinner. Opened it to find cheese, Scraped cheese off and added mustard. Bit into it to find more cheese on the other side of patty. Spit that bite out and trashed the burger. I should have ordered the chicken tenders and potato logs.
Got 4 paint buckets on the way home. One was filled with metal pieces in about 2 inches of paint. I couldn't lift the bucket. Had to rip the lid off of 2 buckets to divide the metal to get them in the truck. Got paint on everything. Got a few white pine primed boards for the fire pit. Rinse the metal and buckets a bit when I got home. I'll water the flowerbed later with the rinse. Add more water after.
Head to Matt's to visit the little girls after nap time. Shoot the 410 and 22s a few times. Got 200 303 Britt brass to resize to 410. Got a few 303/410 loaded for ladder test. Looking for steel shot at a cheap price.

Helped my brother put up 2 new tree stands yesterday and move 4 others. Walked a little over 5 1/2 miles and felt it last night.
Drug a big ol buck bout 60 yards out of a milo field for a youth hunter. Im way outa shape lol

Any tips on getting rid of a stump. Cut the tree down 5 years ago. And drilled a bunch of 1" holes in it and dumped salt on it. I drilled some more holes in it today. Part of me wants to try and split it with a wedge. And Part of me wants to burn it out. View attachment 341873
Can rent a grinder here for 150 a day. Rent on a friday you get it all weekend for that price. If not used motor oil works just takes along time.

Went to visit younger granddaughters. They went shopping with mom, after 3 hours of waiting for them I headed home.
Fired 200 303 brass resizing them to 410. Fired 8 303/410 brass with a light load, got 32 that I'll pull the shot and fire the primer and load. They are weak. Fired 10 with a double load, like them better. By load data I can do triple load. Almost a quad load.
The gun doesn't like shooting 303 brass with head stamp letters on them and LP primers. The ones sanded shot fine. After the truck's oil change I'll be sanding heads.
Stopped at J&J's for dinner. Their chicken tenders are almost as large as a chicken breast. 10 for $22. Other places want $2 each and a quarter of the size.
Hot and no rain in sight.

Welkl, had the eye surgery on the 11th. I drove back to the Dr's office for him to take a look at the work he did and he was impressed at how fast the recovery is going. I drove from Atlanta to my house which is 100 miles (guessing) with no problems on Friday. Removed a og trap off ojne property and carried it back to the owner that loaned it to me. Poured extra corn out under a feeder on another property. Hunted Saturday morning with my crossbow. When I got back home my eye began getting irritated. I suppose I spent too much time in the sunshine so the rest of Saturday and all day today Ive spent in the house. I think I'm gonna take it easy laying around the house the next couple days to helop my eye. Next a'ppt with eye Dr is Thursday morning. Hope it feels like it doesnt have an eyelash in it by them. (I know it's the stitches). Lots of eye drops being used right now.

Whew, summer is back in force, reported to be 94*. The only way one wouldn't know it is mid-July is the days are shorter.
Jaw on the right side was a bit sore last Sun. by Monday morning it was a dull ache. Called the dentist, said they could work me in at 1:00 pm. Made the hour trip, came home with one less jaw tooth, last one on the upper right. I do have to say getting it extracted was mostly painless but the next day it and the three injection sites were quite sore.
Wife and I took long jeep ride yesterday, when we were on gravel the dust was horrible, we really need rain.
OK, Da Bears are getting embarrassed, not sure KC is going to be as good as they were, maybe Indy will come on strong.

Gonna use old 22.5 semi chains. Left over from winter running. Advertsed them cheap. No takers. Would use then when my driveway would get real slick. Colorado also.

Anyway, figure can put two sets for one wheel. Wil put them on hooked together. Then see how much need to cut off for tight fit. After cut will weld the cut off sections together. Since not running down hyway at 30 mph should hold.

These will not go way down the sidewalls like regular tractor chains. But will cover across tred lugs. Also will bungy strap the chains. Got many bunges left over from tarping. Used to buy them in 50 count cases.

Tractor tire size is 12.4 x 28. Yes kinda small to modern tractors.

We have one hummingbird hang around. Been eating the leftover jelly as orieos left.

Had a quick shower. Tornadoes up by Mobridge and north of there to Bismark.

I'm getting blocks on some websites, might be the Malbytes that Davies installed.
Got the oil changed in the truck the other morning before it got to hot. Numb finger and the oil filter went into the pan. Mess on the driveway. Poured Dawn on and swept it in, hosed off later. The car is a bit harder so I carried it to a shop this morning, Dang $93.
Guess Patch ran outside while I had the door open. She stayed out until 4:30 the next morning. Now she sits at the door crying, guess to go outside again.
While out getting Patch in the house I heard noise next door. Dave was on the roof cutting limbs from a tree wearing a headlamp. Got a bit of rain and forced him down, about 1/4" in 3 hours.
I trimmed a few brass casings then the pilot got stuck. Trying to back out I removed the pilot from the trimmer. Vise holding the casing, pliers on the stem and a claw hammer removed it. Went to the hardware store for a new set screw. The boy searched for a long time. Finally "socket screw. (Set screws have a hex or square head.) Couldn't find one that fits. Ok, might be the allen wrench. All about that size wobbled. Wasted trip.
I'm ready for a nap.

I carried my wife to the doctor today to have a catheter removed. I have to push her in one of the walker/wheelchairs. I decided to have a little fun with the nurse. When we were in the room, she was getting ready to remove the catheter. I said to the nurse, as for me being in this room while you do all this, you do know she is my sister, right. You should have seen the look on her face. I told her, 'No, I am just kidding.' lol
