Bought another axe today. Still working on those bush stumps. Get maybe 10 swings of axe then stop for a minute. Got three this afternoon still 4 more to go. These might be abit easier. There will be 20 or so sticking up on the 2 big ones. The roots branch out alot. Also it a slight hump in yard trying to smooth out for better mowing and looks.

Was nice cool morn of 45. Windows open and fan going. Didnt get out from under covers till 730.

Will mow tomorow after doc visit.

Got the 41.6 pound package of lead to the post office. Got the stuff to Matt's and unloaded. He was napping between school and work. Didn't fire the 410. Got buckets under the house dripline. Got light rain this morning. Filled 1 bucket under the valley. Haven't checked to see how much in others. Watched a few old and sketty westerns on Utube.
Debbie's phone isn't working right again. She tells me not to open links on my laptop but does on her phone. I think that's the problem. Wait for Kayla to go with me. I can't understand what those ladies are saying.
The thermostat was set at 62 degrees and the unit was shut off when I got up at 7am.

Don holly cow, how big are the cracks in yur windows any how????? LOL. I buy one at a time.
Jimmy is my hero!! Besides, seems like anytime I have a project that requires caulk, it requires LOTS of caulk. And...my bride abhors insects of any kind in the house, so I do a lot of sealing on the outside of the house.

Got the check to cover 80 pounds of lead. It will be shipped in 2 40 lb boxes on the next 2 Mondays. May save time sitting at a post office over a weekend. I shipped one on Monday to middle TN, out for delivery today by tracking.
Debbie's phone was completely cleaned out for free. Could have saved phone numbers, text and photos for a charge. Maybe she won't be opening unknown links from now on.
Jason went for infusion yesterday morning. They sat waiting for 3 hours. Staff was searching for doctor that ordered the infusions before going farther. His doctor was called, the infusions don't work and useless for the treatment. Guess the son will retire at age 52. Got him a handicap parking card.
Get out and do things while it's cool. Got lots to shop for Debbie.
High today is 84.

Today I got yardage markers up at two of my stand locations (food plots) for bow season. Caught some nice sized bream and cut 'em up to use for cut bait tomorrow. Got my boat/truck lights working right again. Of all things, found a blown fuse marked something like "Tra Park Lt" in the fuse box under the hood. Pulled the game camera cards today....2 cameras = 1000 pictures. Unfortunately, got hogs messing up two of our food plots. Hitched the boat with everything stowed for the ride in the morning. Finished the evening watching my dog chasing and barking at bats....of all things! Ha!:)

Took my 7 year old grandson to Chuck-E-Cheese today for lunch. He played a few games then decided he wanted to jump on the trampoline. He was there a few minutes when a chunky 10-yr-old (?) got in there too, wearing a t-shirt with big block letters saying "I'm not gonna do sh*t today". Staff didn't say a word. Common decency is extinct...even at Chuck-E's.:mad::mad:

Another beautiful dawn weather wise. Not sure how long the almost perfect temps. and low humidity is going to last but I hope until about late Oct.
I have a hard time discarding anything that I think may have a useful purpose sometime in the future, last week wife and I removed and replaced the deck boards from a 10x24 dock on one of the ponds. Yesterday I sorted out the ones that still appeared to be solid, removed the nails and stacked them neatly and put a poly tarp over them. Will I ever use them, maybe, maybe not but they are there if I find a need.
Ammo, don't be too hard on one particular business I think it is nationwide. Words that would have gotten Dad's back hand if spoken in front of women or children (even after I reached adulthood) are now displayed on T-shirts and bumper stickers proudly.
Gabowman, We don't have wild hogs (yet) so not a problem in food plots or crop fields. Are you allowed to take them 24-7 and year-round or are there open season dates?

Jay I know the feeling. When I replaced the deck boards on my trailer this summer I kept all the boards that weren't rotten, cut them into 2' and 3' lengths and stacked them in my carport in case I ever need something for cribbing. Probably never will but better to have it and not need it than, well you know the rest.
