went out on lake mingo today. was very windy and the river was way to high to try that. water temp was 58-60deg wich i was a little suprised it was that warm. tried the creek channel, flat by channel, timber and rip rap on the dam. not a nibble. never fished the lake before. new to the area actualy. did get to try out my new down scan sonar. never had a sonar before and it was pretty cool. got a lot to learn about it.

You should have fished the northeast side of the lake. I catch quite a few in the timber up there this time of year. They love chubs this time of year there too. Especially cut. Try up around the old beach. When they closed it, they stacked a bunch of pallets and timber all over it for baitfish structure.
