Going to my buddies house to mold some sinkers this weekend for first time. It should be a good time trying out his different molds.

Hey y'all I'm going to be doing just that..... maybe tomorrow... with my medication for my "gout" I've been off my feet.. but I gave it a start before going to Squaw lake.... I have maybe 30 lbs. of lead to use up...

I am modifying a pyramid mold... 4 ounces to have a wire on both end.... I think it might be better for hauling in and not hanging up so much...

Ray.... I was wondering what you are using as a melt furnace....?

I lost all my molds at school.... when I was forced to leave....(long story)

But, I got a new pyramid.... 4 oz mold that I have modified to put eyelets at both ends... or just pour short and make smaller sizes........I just bought the lee Production pot IV.....works slick... well worth the investment....

For no rolls.... I just put a stainless wire in the hole and bash it flat and pull out the wire....

well ray, to melt down my bulk lead(wheel weights and such) i use a turkey fryer burner and i have the coolest giant ladle will pour and skim at the same time, it has an opening inside the bottom of the ladle and runs up the side so you pour from the bottom, and it will hold a good 35LB of wheel weights at a time, after i clean the lead i will our into 1/2lb to 2lb ingots that will fit in my Lee production pot. Let me know if you need to use some of my molds.
