Zebra mussels in Winfield Lake

    i read a report from the kdwp this weekend that reported they have found zebra muscles in winfield lake.

    Yep, they are their. I don't think they will become as big a problem as they are in El-dorado though. They showed up at Cheney a couple of years ago too, and then kind of disappeared.

    Winfield and Cheney don't have the structure for them to thrive on like Eldorado does. Aside from the South shoreline, there is not a whole lot of rocks and such for the muscles to grab on to. Cheney has hardly any at all. Without something for them to grab on to, they are easy pickens for fish, and fish love em.
