I'm looking for a spincast reel that can handle cats up to 10 lbs or so. The 808's just aint what they used to be since Walmart got ahold of them. Was looking at the Zebco 733. Any opinions or suggestions on other spincast reels?

I have two 733 reals and they work ok. The drag leaves a lot to be desired but if you are looking for something that will handle up to ten lbs I think you would be ok with them.

I have a 733 and it is great. I have 2 of the Synergy20s and they are great as well. My brother has a 808magnum and he likes it. You won't go wrong with any of those in my opinion.

I have some Zebco 888's and they can easily handle the 20# channels I have caught on them. I would reccomend them over both the 733's and 808's. They are more expensive but work much better and are much more reliable.
