This is another example of your tax dollars at work.In January I got a letter in the mail from the US Dept of Agriculture that said I had to fill it out and send it in or else,it was a farm census and I don't farm and have never farmed so I was worrying over how to fill out a form about a farm that doesn't exist when I called them and told them I had no farm and I never had one.The usda told me to throw it in the trash and forget it which I did.4 days ago I got another census form and I really looked at this one it and the first one was addressed to my father and even had his SS number on it.He had a dairy farm but he sold it in 1953 and he died Jan.30 1968.Our great US of A is sending out paper work to a man who has been dead for 40 years asking about a farm that was sold 54 years ago. They tell me that my wife and I draw $56.00 a month to much to get help with med bills from Medicaid but they can spend $12,000,000,000 a month over in that sand pile.Just keep paying your tax's so the government can toss it away.

Jim,I dont think any money spent on the effort to fight terrosism is wasted ,But trivial mailings like that add up to a lot of WASTED CASH.

What makes me question this is no one is responsible for this going on. The one who writes the letter is just doing his job, the post office is just doing its job, the person who decides the lettter needs to be written is just doing his job, the one who decides who to send it to is just doing his job, they're all really trying to do their best, but no one can be held accountable for any mistakes. Someone didn't do their job somewhere or at one time, and no one can be held responsible. If someone is identified as responsible for this error, nothing will happen to them.

Richard you're missing the point, the government can spend 12 billion a month on the other side of the world but won't help me (a man that has never been in trouble just worked and payed taxes all my life) because we draw $56.00 a month to much and we need help.Because of my wife's illness(lymphoma) there are $847,913 in medical bills.

Tim the people who work for the government are like the guys who worked for the company I did, every time someone made a mistake no one would admit to it.

I feel your pain Jim, and I am with you one hundred percent. There are some that are working tirelessly to make sure that you and all Americans get access to the medical care you and your family need. Of course, because they are labeled socialists and others are greedy it will be a tough row to hoe, but God willin we will get there.

Shawn the bad thing is if I was a drug addict and thief I would get all the help I need but because I paid my taxis and my bills and never been in trouble I can't get any help.

Jim, Im sorry to hear this is still going on. I had hoped your Wife would have gotten better. So sorry.. Yea, thats what the gooberment does, spends trillions on Crap but wont help those in need right here at home, I see it everyday around here. My guess is that 800,000 you owe on medical bills is what is got em givin you the shaft. Before someone jumps on thier soapbox about my statements here, remember, I have a right to my opinion, I served my country in time of war and peace and I really dont care what you think. Ive known Jim for years, he doesnt deserve this type of treatment for 56 bucks.

Thanks Jim!!! I would bet that if my butt was still wet from wading the river to get here I could get all the help I need.
