With money not being an issue, you have a 7 day vacation trip planned to do some serious trophy catfishing on a river. The target is Blues, Flatheads and Channels. Where would you go?

I would choose the Altamaha as it has definate advantages over most rivers I have fished.

Hey Walter, I'd put the Red River here in northwest louisiana up against just about any river for the blues and flats. Channel cats is a different story. We don't have the monster channels that a lot of the northern rivers do. But just to fish some different water than I usually do, I'd pick the mighty muddy. I haven't fished over there since I was in highschool. But' I've got a trip planned to Tunica in a couple weeks with a couple of my newfound BOC brothers. Can't say enough good stuff about this site. I've meet some of the best folks in the world on here. If it wasn't for Paul and his vision of a great site, I would have never meet the folks. We have a pile of folks down here in La. that have meet through this site. They ain't friends anymore, there just family!

James River without a doubt. That fishery consistently produces some HUGE blues. I hope to take a trip there soon.
