what kind of line is being used that you prefer to use or have tryed and liked:cool2:
100 power pro , with a 60 lb. big game leader
I like to use 25-30lb. Berkely big game.
I use the pink 25# ande. I got a good deal on 3 large spools:smile2:
Big game or silver thread for the kitty's ... silver thread is a coploymere line that is small dia smooth as silk and tuffer than nail's with very very little strech to it!!!
I like Berkley Big Game (Solar) and Suffix (Tangerine). The colors help us almost blind people to see. The size is determined by the fish I'm targeting.
I love Ber Big Game. I was thinking about going to a braid though.
POWER PRO all my reels have it. i especially love the 65lb and 50lb lines
I bought 3 abu 6500C this winter and put 65# power pro on them. Have some 40# Big game on some other stuff. I run P-Line on all my bass fishing tackle. Last year at the gathering i used Roberts tackle and he was running spider wire on all his abus, they cast like shooting a bullet. I would be afraid to guess which is best.
I use only 65 lb spiderwire stelth ,love it
35# or 40# Big Game Solar.
Sufix mono and Sufix braid. After trying just about every brand of fishing line tough the years. I must say Sufix is really nice to work with. I use it on everything from crappie to cats.
80-100lb power pro braid it's the best and it's tuff as nails.
silver thread excalibur and berkely big game
i use the silver thread on my abu garcias 6000 to 6600 its smooth as silk with very low memeory and casts like a dream in 30 lb test
i use the BG on my abu garcias 7000 i buy it in large spools and love the price and quality of the line and the green color in 40 lb test .
I just switched to braid from mono and love it! It is alot more sensitive and abrasion resistant than mono.
I use 30# Berkley big game mono, never had a problem and it seems to hold up really well. I use the 40# on my leaders. Easy to find at any Wal-Mart also in case you need it. Chris
I guess I am cheap. I try to stay with a good brand. But have no favorit. Just use what I can get the best deal on.
80# Power Pro, with a either a 60 or 80 Pound Ande Mono Shock Leader.
40# Big Game. Readily available, reasonably priced, and hard to break. I have been using it for 20 years or more. Tried a few others but always come back to old reliable.
I like 40# big game but it has sooooooooooo much stretch. You don't realize how much until you fish with braid and then switch back. When you set the hook with braid he's there no stretch I Love It.
