    I fished the salt for many years in So.Cal. How the heck did that happen? ROTFLMAO

    There's been some talk about this on the local salt water boards over the last month.
    Apearently the Mexican crew did not rig proper lighting as required by international agreement.
    The Senor Hefe was running in the dark of night without its radar on as it was a clear night (no fog).
    The pen was being towed unlighted between 100 and 200 meters behind the tow boat.

    Wow..., that was wild. Thanks for that post. Great to know the Coasties were out that day to help. Who knows what would of gone down

    The site may be running a bit slow. Give it a minute to come up.
    I was also having a problem with it jumping around while I was trying to read it, they may be trying to fix that and you may have to check it later.
    It's a story well worth making the effort to read.

    You can bet that if the Mexican feds had boarded the Senor Hefe they would have been forced into port in Ensenada, Mexico and would have played hell getting their boat back.
