You probaly already know that chicken liver is one of the best channel cat baits around.its just to hard to keep in the hook.I started thinking the other days and I had to try it.I took shad some fresh and some frozem and injected them with chicken liver juice or blood what ever you want to call it.Man I wore the channels cats out and even a couple of small blues.

man I'll have to try that. Something else you might want to try, put a piece of liver in some panty hose. tie it off with a twist tie or rubber band or a knot, they cant steal the bait. and you can send it a mile.

when the mrs. is not around use the blender and blend shad liver velveta cheese and all the blood from the liver together pour into large bowl and add small amount of flour and kneed it together till its like dough ball it on to a treble hook and have fun with the channels

When I wash stationed in NC is did something similar when making dough for shrimp and well lets say it wasn't pretty. I forgot to wash the damn blender since I was so eager to go shrimp'n. Oh well I have a new blender now for mixn baits now. Thanks to all for sharing your methods for using chicken liver. Happy fishin and good luck doing it.
