Anyone know what the warranty is on Xpress boats. I heard it was lifetime, but I also heard that was only first owner, and some say transferable? Which is it? There website says absolutily nothing about it.

Call the factory and ask them to send you a copy of their warranty.

Basically (reading from my warranty card), it's a "limited lifetime transferable warranty." 5 years of basic "full" warranty coverage for any defects, followed by lifetime guarantee on welds only. All repairs have to be made at the Xpress plant in Hot Springs, AR. Anything not made by Xpress isn't covered at all. There's a $100 transfer fee. Except during the first 5 years, it costs $300 and can only be transferred once in that period.

Bottom line: It's a standard worthless warranty that won't give you any useful protection unless you get a real lemon right out of the gate.
