I went catfishing 7/4/06 about 9:30 pm My pole bent, I grabbed it and set the hook and then my other pole bent, my cousin's pole jerked, we had 3 poles going at the same time. His baitcaster backlashedas he grabbed it, My 10ft glowstick wiggled, my med. pol with zebco 33 started to go over the bridge, so i grabbed it first. I could feel the fish fighting on this pole, My cousin could see the fish splashing as he tried to hand over hand his in ,my 10footer went slack, I finally managed to get the33 wound in with a 12in. bullhead. I then realized that the hook and sinker tied in a knot below the barrel swivel was from the pole just reeled in. The fish was actually hooked on my 10ft. rod line. It had wrapped around, my 33 pole and my cousins line. I REELED IN A FISH THAT WAS NOT HOOKED TO THE POLE I REELED IN. we untangled the lines and The first fish caught on my new10ft pole wasn't reeled in using it. STRANGE BUT A FIRST FOR ME.

LMAO, at least it was off of your pole. LMAO Would of been worse if you caught your cousins fish and he still got credit for it. hehehe

I tournament fish against 2 guys that have been fishing together for years, & on 2 different ocassions they have hooke the same fish. One guy would get a bite on his rod & it would quit then the other guy got a bite & caught the fish & it still had the 1st guys hook & line in its mouth. I thought that was odd.

Ahhhhhhhhhh, tangled lines, mixed up poles, fish "on one, somewhere", adrenaline pumping, complete mayhem. It just doesn't get any better than that. And, what a story for future generations.
