Does she have to awake? Mine when I take her fishing, 10 minutes and she is sleeping somewhere. She says fishing makes her sleepy. She almost fell out of the boat the last time I took her, and she cant swim a lick.

NO :smile2:, we have an agreement. I don't go shopping with her and she doesn't go hunting or fishing with me.

If you do let her, make sure she knows not to laugh if a big fish gets away.

I would. In fact I have before and really enjoyed it. She can't really go now due to our newborn baby and the lack of a sitter

Yep! We have fished two tourney's together and I would do again in a heartbeat. She can be in the house when I start hooking up the boat and she will beat me in the truck. She loves to fish as much as me.

I would but, she can't take a lot of sun [had heat stroke ] so really don't think she could handle it.And she ' not crazy about skeeters so that rules out nights. She does like to go but not for all day..

Absolutely, as a matter of fact, I do tourney fish with my wife. I get to fish and I get to spend time with her. How do you beat that?

Same here. We have been together for 20 years and she has only fished maybe 3 times.

I love her and all but I dont want to spend my alone time with her, LOL.

In the nineties my wife was my fishing partner in striper tournaments. She did just as well as any male partner I ever had. We fished in 18 to 32 degree conditions. Biggest problem was her tiny bladder. :eek:oooh:

I can't get my lazy wife out the house unless its on fire let alone out on a river or a lake. No way buddy not me! But on a seriuos note, if she likes to fish and be out doors and can rig her own stuff, then why not
