Are the rivers up too much to go snagging at Alton Dam or down at Chain of Rocks? Could a person get into the bigheads from the banks still even with the water up?

Man those are some nice fish in the pic. I haven't been able to catch any spoon bills that size in like ten years.

I caught this one down on Tablerock here in MO. I've caught 4 spoonbill out at Chain of Rocks this year and they were between 12 and 24" long. Those were the smallest spoonbill I have ever caught lol, I would rather hook into an ol bighead, they pull alot harder.

I heard chain of rocks is closed due to flooding. Nobody was really getting anything at Alton either.

I was at Ky and Barkley dam this morning (Sat.) and no one was catching fish snagging. There was probably 30 snaggers at each dam. No skipjack being caught either. :confused2:
