Angler Tim Pruitt, of Alton, Ill., holds a 124-pound blue catfish that he dragged out of the Mississippi River near Alton after a half-hour battle.

He Should Have Released Back Into The MS River Instead Of To Cabelas.

I can't say if offerd the kind of money he probably was I could turn it down.It was his catch of a lifetime and it was his catch.I would either release it or sell it to an aquarium if they offered.Maybe thats greed, but to me its a harvest of a lifetime. Its not like he had it stuffed and hung it in the livingroom,he gave it to someone who would take care of it and let the world share in this beautiful animal.I only hope to have that decision someday.
