Woodchuck

    does anyone here know how or have ever trapped a woodchuck? we discovered one under the concrete floor in one of our farm buildings and dont want it causing anymore damage. Any advice:confused2:?

    got some leghold traps ? set 1 out you'll catch him .
    or sit somewhere close and smoke him with the ol'scattergun !!!

    I have probably trapped over 1000 of them in the past 30 years..at one time my uncle farmed about 700 acres of soybeans and he paid me 5.00 each for everyone I caught..they are probably the easiest animal caught..even easier than a possum..:wink: you need to buy, rent or borrow a 160 or 220 conibear trap. place it over the hole and the next day he will be there dead as a doornail..here is a pic of one..
