Well, I didn't make it to Ky. Lake this morning, but I did run down to the Cumberland River for a couple of hours this afternoon. I caught 11 big slabs. I fished old laydowns along the river channel, Some were deep and some were shallow.

Wayne and I caught 40 yesterday with most coming along a 50 yd section of creek bank that had 4-6 feet of water on it. We were using cork/jig rigs, color didn't seem to matter too much. They were up on top of the bank and mainly around 4 stumps but some did come on plain bank. They bite for about 3 hrs and when the wind got stonger they turned off or it may have had something to do with boat control, got pretty rough.
