I'm probably going to be hunting the Cahaba River Wildlife Management Area in Shelby/Bibb Counties here in Alabama. I've seen pictures of some of the deer that have been harvested there and they seem great. I've never hunted a WMA before, and I'm only acquainted with the procedures-WMA license and permit (which is the map for the Cahaba WMA) and I know that you are issued a hunting permit valid for that day only when you check in. Other than that, I'm in terra nova. Anyone ever hunted the CRWMA or for that matter, any WMA in Alabama? Any tips or information would be greatly appreciated.
