i like jugg fishing because you can set them out and watch and see if the fish are biting or not and in my opinion a trotline is a set and leave for a while device while yoyo's arent really the best at holding a good fish

I would rather trotline myself especially if I'm fishing by myself. Or limb line or even stump or snag line.

Love to rod and reel fish but I have enjoyed setting out jugs. They can be a blast!

Rod & Reel for big ones, Jugs for fun, yo-yo's for meat and trotlines when I'm lazy and have something else more important to do!

I agree with Alan on this one. Some times a change up can be a lot of fun.

I would rather use Yo-yo's if not fishing with rod and reel, I have notice that the limbs to place the yo-yo's are at a minimum on the Arkansas River.

If I'm not pole fishing I'm trotlinning. Even if I'm pole fishing I'm looking for a place to put a trotline. I also like limblinning and yoyo's.:smile2:

:wink:Rod and reel for me 99%, but I do like seeing that jug pop the surface and take off.
Sometimes the chase can be on and of course you never know for sure what you`re gonna get until you pull it up. (kinda like that box of chocolates)
