winterizing

    is any winterizing needed if i store my boat in the garage?

    Jeff,
    I store mine in a heated garage and the only winterization I do is make sure the gas is topped off and has Stabil in it.

    Nice deal. LOL! I would change the lower unit oil and spend the winter changein all the things ya wanted to.

    Jeff there is offered two good suggestions and store it with the motor hanging in the down position so it will drain all the water out. Disconnect the fuel line so it will ease the pressure off the carb floats and if you want as I do drain the carbs Or at least run it long enough on the muffs to get the stabil in the carbs.

    I do most of my fishing in winter months.
    I run ring free year round.
