Thanks JC....I heard east of us is going to be worse......So you might want to buckle down the hatches.
This Sh!! is getting old real fast.

3-6" with 40 MPH winds and record breaking low...

    It already is $#&@ old!

Just when we have 2 great years of a shad hatch on Milford, this crap is going to knock the hell out of them again this year like 3 years ago.

im not going to complain. I have to say i would rather it be the snow then all the ice we got 2 years ago when it knocked power out state wide (jeff was gone that year so it was horrible trying to figure out of to communicate with him while i didnt have power..thank god for cell phones:Happy:) So if its going snow just let it snow and keep the ice away!!!

    Thats my opinion anyway...lol

My furnace quit running. I turn on the oven from time to time and let the
faucets drip. The cat doesn't want to go out anymore. I sit in the front
room wrapped up in a sleeping bag watching TV mostly. Saw where a
couple of confused folks froze to death during this cold snap. I think there
may be more before we're through this. And I was hoping for a mild
winter. Well, you've got to play what yer delt, I guess...

Yeah, Tom, got a fellow working on it. Had to order parts. In a day or
two, the problem might get solved. I'll just throw on another blanket,
grin and bear it! Do you have an ice auger, by the way? Motorized,
like the ones on TV? Might come in handy for going after crappie in
this weather. Imagine the ice might be around 8in by now. Can you
    dig it?

My auger is hand powered. But I know Caleb has a gas powered we need to hook up with him.
Yes the ice is getting thick and hard.

Michale if you need a warm place until your heater gets fixed I have a one night room at the Ramada here in Topeka I'm willing to give to you for free.

I am dumbfounded at your generous offer, but I cannot afford the run to
Topeka just now. It will cost dear for the part, I am sorry to say that it is
a fan motor going bad. I guess my job is to watch the house while Mary
works for the rest of this breif period. Thanks, Tom! You make me feel
better about the chances that people have in the coming hard years.
