Winter Fishing Savannah River ?

    I would like to know if any of yall fish the savannah river in the fall and winter, and what kind of bait and holes to look for?

    Kevin- I fished and hunted out of the Jackson ramp for years before moving to Charleston. I mainly bass and bream fished with plenty of success. There are a couple feeder creeks that come out of SRS that discharge warm water. On cold mornings they are easy to find because of the "smoke on the water". The action was always good in those areas, so it would make sense that the cats would be there also.

    There should be some monsters with all the radiation...:big_smile:
