Winter Bait

    So what is the best bait for this snowy time of year???

    For catfish, I would use some kind of cut fish from that body of water.

    Big George is right, i am not goin to say that it wont work, but using frozen baits this time of year can be a hassle at times. As you probably know, anything that you can catch this time of year in the waters that you are fishing is also going to be getting eaten by bigger fish. If you do use other baits, you can have some success, but it will be a longer trip. JMO

    I was up till the point I stopped was having sucess with cut fish. ( that I bought at an Asian Supermarket)

    Yeah im stillhaving alot of luck using blue gills and sunfish that i catch when the weather is better and keep em in a fish tank until i need em.
