Forcast calls for weekend snow, measurable amounts even. Seems every spring i get a little too excited and mother nature puts me back in check

thats the point aint it, we have that "just perfect" weather twice a year, and it lasts about 2 weeks then its either too cold or too hot, but like shelby said when its too hot, just fish at night

I'll take the 100 degree days, I'l still be out on the water in the day time hours. The fish still bite and most of the time you have less people on the water.

I would imagine even with it being colder the water temps should remain pretty steady, so hopefully mr. whiskers doesnt notice the cold weather :smile2:

Always seems like I've got to go somewhere or do something on those
perfect days for fishing. I think that part of the art is making do with
the cards you are delt. Like they say, you don't know til you go.

this cold front just gives me a little more time to get those things done around the house i need to before it's off to the lake friday afternoons and back to the house sunday night. Camper needs a reseal on the top and I got a livewell to build for the pontoon. I did manage to catch about 20 6inch shad last monday that I put in a 5 gal. bucket with water to sour a bit.
they're froze now so I guess when they thaw out it'll be time to give em' a try.
