@ PRISON-You spend most of your time in a 10X10 cell
@ WORK-You spend most of your time in a 6X6 cubicle
@ PRISON-You get three fully paid for meals a day
@ WORK-You get a break for one meal, and you have to pay for it
@ PRISON-For good behavior, you get time off
@ WORK-For good behavior, you get more work
@ PRISON-The guard locks and unlocks all the doors for you
@ WORK-You must carry a security card and open all the doors yourself
@ PRISON-You can watch TV and play games
@ WORK-You could get fired for watching TV and playing games
@ PRISON-You get your own toilet
@ WORK-You have to share the toilet with people who pee on the seat
@ PRISON-They allow your family and friends to visit
@ WORK-You aren't even supposed to speak to your family
@ PRISON-All expenses are paid by the taxpayers with no work required on your part
@ WORK-You must pay all your expenses to go to work, and they deduct taxes from your salary to pay for prisoners
@ PRISON-You spend most of your life inside bars wanting to get out
@ WORK-You spend most of your time wanting to get out and go in bars
@ PRISON-You must deal with sadistic wardens
    @ WORK-They are called 'managers'
THERE IS SOMETHING SERIOUSLY WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE.

I asked my boss on the phone the other day if he was trying to kill me :confused2:

I think they hate me up there! I get the biggest numbers, hardest to handle kids and highest ratio of resource areas than any other instructor in the department. Hmphhh! I still can't figure out why that is. LOL:tounge_out:

Yeah we need more Sheriffs, like the one in Arizona.......tents and no A/C in the desert, pink underware, and jumpsuits........back to chain gangs and busting rock, no TV......

We give them no incentative to change their life.

a person can be socialized. I had my own business for eight years. I tried to hire men just coming into the half way houses from prison to give them another chance at doing right. More times than not, they let me down. They were too used to being told who, what, when and where to make decisions on their own that would keep them free and productive. Now I am back working for the man, and if it was not for needing the health insurance, I think I would go back to being self-employed to escape the prison of corporate America.:sad2:

Times today are not like the old days when you can just start a business, and do good. There are to many laws, to keep you from it. I just started my own business, and it took 4 months just to get the paperwork done. So it is either work for the man and starve or starve and try to get a business going. No easy way about it. Prisoners have free health care, room and board, can go to college.......I wish those options were open to the common person trying to eek out a living......but they have constitutional rights.....but I dont see in the constitution anywhere that allows them to go to college and TV, ect......our legal system is way to soft on people who break the law........
