I know it's early...but with regular season, and fantasy drafts impending...who's your pick for the 2008 rookie of the year?

There's always that group of rookies that shine their freshman year....who's that breakout player gonna be this year?

Is it gonna be McFadden? Mendenhall? Jake Long? Matt Ryan? Jonathan Stewart? Felix Jones? Flacco? Ellis?

I know who I'd like to pick...but DT Glenn Dorsey has been hurt, and therefore hasn't been in training camp...making his impact hard to judge due to his abscence.

That being said...for me then...it's a race between McFadden (Oak RB) and Mendenhall (Pit RB)...with Felix Jones (Dal RB) sliding in at 3 rd.

Teams are gonna stack up against McFadden. He's gonna be a heckuva pro, but Dorsey is gonna win it. He's gonna bust alot of skulls out there.

I could see Dorsey winning it...IF...he recovers fully from his knee injury...and IF Hali and McBride step up.

Were Jared Allen still there...you'd hear alot more of the analysts talking about it.

I think Dorsey is gonna get the help up front, the real question will be his help in the secondary. Will they allow him enough time to get up the field and not let the qbs just bomb away over the top of the pressure.
