I bought a Whuppin Stick Magnum last winter on sale at Cabela's for $29.95. Have it on a Abu red 7000 with 30lb Cajun Red. I put one of Gene's Nite Stalker lites on it. Works great for nite flat headin or for daytime channels. No complaints. Looks trick with them red eye wraps also.

I have two 9 foot Whuppin Sticks for spinning reels. I really like them because they can toss a relatively light rig a pretty long way and they are pretty sensitive considering the materials. The only problem is that the guides are really cheap. I've replaced a couple already.

I have two whuppin sticks. One for a spinning reel and one for bait casting. I have been satisfied with both. They are 2 piece rods so I can carry them in my car or small pickup. For the bucks you can't beat them.

I have 3 baitcasters with 6500s Abu Trophy series , nothing caught over 12lb.Sure do like them. The price is right and it's 1 tough rod.
