I saw these on another site. Would be pretty awesome to have one kevlar coated and float it around skinny rivers! Just thought I would share here (hoping the original owner doesn't mind ). What do you think?

Well you still need a jet motor, because that's how those crafts are propelled.

I don't know about the "cheaper on gas" part. Jet skis LOVE gas!

I have never been on a jet ski, how shallow can they run? That looks interesting. I like the rod rack, :cool2:

I've always wondered if you could make them into a fishing machine.....turns out you can. As much as jet skis cost, i could buy a really nice jon boat though.

LOL, jet skis are cheap here this time of year. There is a fella on Lake Limestone that fishes out of one. He does the "wet-suit" thing and will chase the whites WAY up a shallow river.

MY wife has 2 yamahas 1200 & 870 Greg (snagged2 ) and i were looking at them and my alum. smokercraft i could feel my wife looking at the back of our necks  but maybe if we just mounted some rod holders :0a32: we could use them on shallow water i think you would have to modifi the water intake they suck up alot of stuff once some pebbles got jamed in the cooling system not easy to deal with at the lake.

but why? know I could get a new 16' tunnel hull jon w/ 40/28hp jet for not any more then 1 of them big couch's , not going to be any harder to store then a boat, ya mite get one for less the 8k w/out trailer these days but doubt it, and i know I would rather pull a jon off a sand bar then a tank like them, , be kinda funny to see how he would handle a 90lb blue or flat:smile2: buy a fish n boat if ya going fish n
