Do any of our AZ members hold any lake records?
~ What is your biggest Flatthead or channel?

Mine is 20lbs. Last year at Bartlett up the river.

When I was about 7 years old my dad took me down to the salt river below saguaro lake in late fall and he landed a 28lb flathead. I don't know about any records, all i know is that flatheads are barely caught below saguaro, let alone a big one.

Biggest so far for me is the one in my avatar. Don't know the weight but he was heavier than fifty because that was the biggest scale we had at the time and it went bonkers when we weighed it. We guessed it at around 60-65 lbs.

My biggest, so far, was 50 plus. I also had a 50 lb scale that bottomed out. We guessed about 52 lbs. Looking for a bigger one this year.

That cat fish is a hog. I can't get over 20lbs. I am going to need to follow your lead and start fishing Roosie much more.

Thanks flatheadhunter33. I can only hope to top it someday. Just got to keep trying .It might just happen. At least we have a scale big enough to weigh a fish that size now! Good luck to all on all your upcoming fishing trips.
