   I am going to drag out the ol canoe next week and do a day trip from around muncie to anderson...i've made the trip a couple times before but never fishing strictly for cats...the river in that stretch is pretty shallow with the deepest holes around 4 to 6ft deep. I was hoping that u guys could help me out with types of bait and tactics to use for that type of river fishing and will it be productive during the day...thanks and by the way this is my first post...Dribbs

But don't worry I managed to catch a few kitties while I was down there:) Anyways, I figure I'll start fishing the river hard as soon as it stabilizes. I'm using this thread cause my range starts just south of muncie and goes all the way to indy.....good luck and tight lines. talk to ya'll soon.

Dribbles....tell me how you do after your little trip. I go to Ball State and HATE not being able to fish much at all. My guess would be use some liver..maybe some prepared stink bait might work in that small of a body of water..and nightcrawlers.
