I stopped by on my way home from Spencer today around noon. I stop there every Wednesday to just cast with artificial lures. I had a variety day. I caught a 5 pound channel cat, a 2 pound drum, a 9" smallmouth, a 9" saugeye, a 6" wiper, a 6" spotted bass and a 5" crappie. Then it started to rain again. Who knows what my next one would have been. All in all it was still a fun 45 minutes.

wish there where Sauger close by me here, but, I've gotta go 'round 5 or 6 miles or so up river (by boat) to find them. Little SmallMouth are all over the white. Never caught any wipers, but they're plenty of white bass. And I'll get a crappie in a castnet now and then.
