White Perch as bait

    :0a35:I recently found a small lake that is full of white perch.Using nightcrawlers I managed to catch about 8 to 10 of them. Just wanted to know if anyone had succes using them as catfish bait. I'm thinking about trying them out.:0a22:

    When you say white perch, I assume you are talking about what I call drum. They are good bait cut up, or use the smaller ones whole. Catfish love em 'cause they are kinda oily, and are a plentiful farage fish.

    Ya can get 2 nice fillets outa them and the channels luv em. The Delaware is filthy with em. I'll show ya.

    Hey George the small lake I found is near the PHL airport.They probably originated from the Delaware River.:0a23:

    I've caught many stripers like this one on white perch
