Just got these in the mail, gotta say I'm pretty impressed with them. They look and feel like they are quality made and are pretty sharp. In the photo the hook on the left in the whisker Seeker 8/0,the hook on the right is the Gamakatsu octopus circle 8/0

The 8/0 Gamakatsu is an excellent hook. That has been my hook of choice for several years. They come to you very sharp and I have never had one fail. They look better when there is a 60 pounder hanging off the pointy end.

The other hook I have not used. There are several very good hooks on the market so I hope to works well for you also.

Snelling these hooks is the best way to rig them. Make sure the leader comes out of the eye on the point side of the shaft. I don't know your experience with circles so I hope you don't take this last comment as being disrespectful.

Never tried the whisker seeker. Good looking hook though.
