    T J and I caught a boat load of chubs and suckers, mental note go back for live bait when it warms up, he managed to wrangle this out of the water....

    It is actually a fisherman of sorts. It's a Diving spider of the Dolomedes family and feeds on insects and small fish. A bite from this type of spider will cause minor necrosis as opposed to what a brown recluse does to you, you would be lucky to be bit by this one rather than a recluse. Google brown recluse spider bite if you have a strong stomach, not for the faint of heart. This fellow scared a neighbor or two and one very arachnaphobic friend and was released behind my apartment.
