same here. flats a few times a year but mainly channels for the freezor.

Blues most of the year but I'll fish for flats during June and early July when the blue bite slows down for spawn. I hit enough channels for eating by accident, but every now and then I'll go out and just fish for them with the boys. One of my favorite things to fish for are little bullheads for bait. I sit at a small lake here by the house after dark with those lighted bobbers and a couple of ultralights. :wink:

I tend to target Flatties more in the summer, but seem to catch twice as many Blues in the winter. Kind of confusing!!:embarassed:

So far, I have fished only for channels. (Love 'em) This summer I plan on catching some flatheads, or at least trying.
