cajun red lightening 20lb. or bbg 20lb.
You can't go wrong with Berkley Big Game.
Power Pro 100#. Have to use a heavy braid in our very structured river. I like the fact that the braids don't have any memory like monos do.
Bill in SC
You might try some premium salt water ande if your going to use mono line. This line is hard to beat and I still use it for leaders. I also still spool it on some of my reels.
My tournament rods have 100# power pro, this is by far the best line i've used. Started out with the 65 # and liked it as well.
Some people swear by the cajun line and i've talked to just as many that swear at it, and real good :smile2:. Just try several brands and go with the one that fits your type of fishing, the main thing when picking a line size and brand is picking the one you have confidence in to get the big fish in when he bites.
I like Cajun Red. I'm waiting for the Cajun Red Braid to hit the shelves.
I've used cajun red and berkely big game I like the cajun better than Berkely, braid has more strength I now use 65# spiderwire with ande 40# shock leader:wink:
I've not used any Cajun except some 15# on a spinning rig I have,, it works real good ,,
Yanked around on some pretty good bass, and channels with it.. No problems, would use more of it..
Haven't used any 15# BBG, but, what of it I've used, 30-50# I like it very well..
I imagine, that any fish you catch with either one,,,,won't know, or won't care!!
Besides,, I like the pretty Red color!!!:smile2:
and after 3 feet under water it disappears to fish pretty hard to see at night for me too:smile2:
id go with the cajun red i have it on all my reels,i dont think you will be sorry.
