I use three brands of hooks. Gamakatsu 8/0 octopus circles, Daiichi 7/0 circle chunk light hooks and Eagle Claw king kahles from 7/0 to 10/0

LeRoy, you can usually get a 25 pack of the 8.0 octopus circles on eBay for $12+ or less, including shipping. The way I see it, I can't afford NOT to use them!

Circle hooks that I would use, have used and will still use :

    Team Cafish Hooks
    Black an Blue Hooks
    Owner
    Diachi
    Gama's
    Frenzy

If i'm not using circles then the only other hook I will use for catfishing is the eagle claw kahles and king kahles from the nickle plated 7/0 to the black pearl 8/0 - 10/0.

    Sandy Run,
I love all the above mentioned hooks and use most of them with great success for varying baits. I have recently started using these hooks that I found on one of the BOC sponsor sites. It seems to be a cross between circle, octopus and khale. It's called a Sickle, made by Matzuo. Check it out and tell Gene "RAMBO" sent ya' when you order some! I think you will like them.
