Where to purchase goldfish

    i live in the dayton area and lookin for a place 2 buy goldfish, does anybody have any places 2 recommend??

    I hate to say this but if there is any $$$lakes around you,you can get them from there.I'm guilty of that when the bait stores around me are out of Israeli carp.

    no problem,the good thing abt them is they usually stay open all night.the bad part is their a little higher than a normal bait shop.Good luck with it.

    give me a p.m. with phone # and 2 days ill get you 2 dozen for 12.00 for at least 2 dozen good flatty bait. ask H2O MELLON IF I CAN . i am in kettering .

    You can't go wrong w/ Dead Eye. It beats the heck out of paying $16 per pound at the competition.

    Dang that sounds like a heck of a deal I may have to get ahold of dead eye I live in miamisburg so thats just about as close as the bait shop.

    I know that the Walmart, Petco and Petsmart here in O'fallon Ill. has them for around 28 cents each---2-3"ers.

    .............$16 a pound?? have they gone up since last summer? i moved from Ohio last August, and they were $9 a pound at the local bait shop....whats going on??

    I have only heard of one bait shop in the entire state that sells them for lss than $15 per pounds & that was somewhere in Lancaster.

    Cripple Creek Bait and Tackle carries goldfish...$9 per pound last month.

    if you have a vendors liscense you can no doubt get them a lot cheaper from wholesale bait in hamilton, they are the company that supplies all the areas bait stores.

    Jim's bait and Tackle in Protorville, OH has goldfish 2" to 3" for $5 a dozen if anyones interested. Its a little far for you Dayton guy's.
