Where to hook your Bream

    What's ya'lls output on where are you hooking your bream on the Altamaha. I have been hooking them behind the dorsal fin but one fellow said the water was so rapid there that it was better to hook them in the mouth so their gils wouldn't have all the current coming through them.....what works for ya'll...thanks for any advice:big_smile:

    up here in des moines ia, e run a needle through them and use a treble hook worx every time

    I prefer to hook all live catfish bait in the upper mouth and out at the the nose area. They look natural and will stay alive much longer. Just make sure that you don't get too far back.
