Where to go in SW ohio

    i know caesar creek has crappies any around colerain area?

    If you can find a good creek outlet into the Ohio close to one of the locks above or below those are usualy good.

    Also if you go to the side of the locks where the boats go thru there is usualy some slackwater on the edge (you will know what I mean when you find it) that looks just horrible and lifeless toss you a live minnow or spinner in there you might be suprised.I used to catch ALOT of crappie over 12 inches in these areas.

    Really nice spot out in aurora only about 20-30 minutes from colerain and the crappie fishing is usually well worth that kinda trip just take US 50 out to aurora there is a shell station right across from the entrance to the town behind that shell station is a nice little boat ramp 5.00 to launch it is a nice backwater area off of the Ohio and it is pretty easy to find some super nice crappies in here let me know how it works out for you the spot has always produced for me.
