Hi Greg Welcome aboard the U S C A. I have seen turkey livers at all major grocery stores. It won't be setting out like they let the beef and chicken though. It will be in the frozen meat section of the store. Hope this helps ya on finding it.
Check at a Dillons Marketplace, I'm pretty sure I've seen it there. They also have frozen bait shrimp in the frozen meat case as well. Not quite where you would expect to find it.
I'm assuming most meat departments will throw their meat away on or after the expiration date. Does anyone know if meat departments will give away certain things like liver, shrimp etc?
Zanshin, where are you located? The Dillons store on 30th in Hutchinson has it most of the time and Heartland Outdoors in South Hutch also carries it along with frozen shad (sides, guts and whole).
Welcome to the USCA Greg. Good luck with the turkey livers. Never had much luck with them myself even though they stay on the hook better.
Has any body else had good luck with them?

Most places won't give stuff away, because then they are overrun with the homeless, and the cheap people. Talk to the manager of the meat dept. They are usually willing to sell spoiled stuff at reduced rates, but they want you to take it all, not just a quarter pound.
You going to make it to the gathering this weekend? Bring the kayak if you do.
