Where to find White Bass?

    Where do ya'll find white bass this time of year?
    Daytime?
    Nite time?
    I have stumbled on them schoolin on shad but dont know how to find them otherwise.

    For us James they will move to little deeper water than the early and late bite. They tell me that the white are'nt doing too much on topwater or have not established that summertime pattern yet.

    Follow the shad and you will find the whites or wipers. Look for those big bait balls and they will be working the edges. Usually after sunup they move off the flats to the slightly deeper water to lake channels or close to the dam.

    We troll using a Northland Rainbow Spinner on a crawler harness. Try different depths by letting out more/less line and varying trolling speeds up to 3 mph. When you pick one up, troll back through the same area.
