I have read that we have them in the Hooch but have never caught any. I looking for any advice on where to find them or catch them. I fish mostly bream and would love to try the skip jack. Any info would be great, I have been reading in the library and fiinding lots of info. Great site hear and look forward to learning a bunch more about the flats and blue in the Hooch.

you can catch all the skipjack you want down at the dam in Columbus along the river walk.
Use crappie jigs and throw to the swift water

This is what I was wanting to hear. I have been fishing this area for a while but have not ever caught any skips and wanted to know if they were even there. I think Ill give it another chance or two and see what I can come up with, if not then I guess Ill just stick with bream.

If any of you have any extra/a few you could spare I would be willing to pick them up from you. I am just wanting to try it and see how it works. We do good on bream but would love to try skippys.
