Has anybody talked to or seen Jim?? He was last here on the 19th of July:confused2::crazy::sad2:
I ran into Lydia, Jim's wife, in Radiology at Geary County Hospital in
Junction City. She got me up to speed on Jim's problems over the
last few days. He has had abdominal surgery to repair a blockage
in his small intestine, there were some post-op problems but his
luck has held and he has been released to go home. I'll let him
answer on how he feels when he gets around to it. Probably gonna
be sleepy a couple of days, I was after my 4 way bypass.
I was wondering where Jim was, that sucks. Hope he is doing ok.
How are you Michael? Quad bypass aint something ya just go out and get every day.
That's so year before last, Ray. I haven't talked a lot about it cause I
healed up pretty easy. That was because I was way young for this
operation. It's sort of embarrassing in a way. My arteries caulked up
before they were supposed to because I had metabolic syndrome,
which is wieght related and therefore my fault. Shows a lack of restraint
around food, I guess. I try not to think about it much these days.
I miss-read you there Mike, I thought you had just had the bypass.
I resemble that lack of restraint problem.:embarassed: Eating is the thing I accel most at.
The reason for the extra week, the incision got infected, so they had to open me up again, and couldn't restitch it. So now I'm swabbing out a big goopy slash every day, but, IT IS HEALING pretty nice. I think Lydia said they let me go a week early cause I was giving them such a hard time, they'd ask if I needed any thing, stock reply, FROSTY PITCHER OF BEER:smile2: They were getting tired of hearing it:smile2:
Hoping to make El Dorado, at least for the day(feed:smile2, depending on what my "nurse" say's, she'll have to drive.
I don't plan on attending any more of those two week no beer party's ANYMORE:smile2:
GREAT to see you back Jim.
